Protect Your Health

Your Allegiant Home Inspector is a specially trained in conducting Radon Tests. The goal of our Radon Testing is to identify the potential health risk of Radon gas. This simple effort can ensure you are living in a safe environment and are protecting yourself and your family from harmful radon gas.

Radon is a, cancer-causing, radioactive gas that comes from (radioactive) breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water and gets into the air you breath. Radon can be found all over the U.S. It can get into any type of building (homes, offices, and schools) and build up in high levels.

You can't see it, smell it or taste it, so testing is the only way to know if you and your family are at risk from radon.

Testing is inexpensive and easy. There are two ways to test for radon: short-term and long-term testing. Short-term testing is the quickest way and can give you an indication whether furthere testing is needed. Long-term testing will give you a reading that is more likely to tell you your home's year-round average radon level.
